Miroslav Vulićević (Serbian Cyrillic: Мирослав Вулићевић ; born in 29 May 1985 in Raška) is a Serbian football player, currently the captain of FK Vojvodina. He is regarded as one of the best right backs currently playing in the Serbian Superliga.

Club career

Still very young, he started playing in the Leposavić club FK Kosmet. Then he moved to FK Bane where he stayed for three seasons. In 2005 he signed with the Superliga club FK Javor where he stayed for five and a half years, only interrupted by a short half a season loan spell at another Superliga club Borac Čačak. In the summer of 2009, he signed with FK Vojvodina.

International career

The year of 2008 will be remembered as the most successful year for Miroslav Vulićević. His club FK Javor returned to the Serbian Superliga and made an impressive first half of the season without any losses in the games in which Miroslav played, and was fighting for the top spots in the league. After many impressive exhibitions, he received a call from national side coach Radomir Antić to play in a friendly match against Poland, in December of that same year. Since then, he has been a serious contender for the position of right-back, which is currently occupied by the excellent Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanović.
